Dear LPPC Families and Friends:

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I must announce that I have officially closed LITTLE PEOPLE'S PRESCHOOL CENTER. After 21 years of providing a play-oriented early childhood educational program, LPPC closed its doors as it is no longer financially feasible to continue operating the school.

Unfortunately, it has been difficult to keep LPPC open these past few years. The struggling economy, increased operational costs, along with stricter state requirements have made it difficult to continue our preschool program. The declining student enrollment, due to the simple fact of neighborhood children growing up, has been a big financial factor. Times have changed.

I realize that this announcement may be met with feelings of disappointment and sadness. This has been the hardest business decision of my life and it has not been easy to come to this conclusion. I am sorry to advise you of this news now, but I want to allow you ample time to find another preschool program for your child for the upcoming school year.

As a business owner, as well as an early childhood educator, I desperately wanted to keep LPPC open, to keep my remarkable staff employed and to continue to provide young children with quality and loving care. Please know that it has been a joy caring for your children, and I will always appreciate the opportunity you've given me to be a part of their lives. It has been a sincere pleasure getting to know each and every one of you and your families. I will always have the fondest memories of all of you who have touched my heart.

Thank you all (big and little) for making these past 21 years at LPPC so rewarding for me ...
